Alladio Sims is a landscape design practice offering clients beautiful outdoor living spaces. We aim to exceed your expectations at every stage of the process, from the initial consultation to the completed garden.
Our driving forces are a passion for excellence and a meticulous attention to detail, a deep respect and appreciation of each location, and the use of sympathetic materials and plants that will endure the test of time and still look stunning for many years to come.
Remember that each garden is unique and we can tailor our services around your specific requirements.
We want our clients to be fully aware of what is happening at every stage of their project, from the initial meeting through to completion of the project.
Find out below how your garden design project works.
During our first visit, which takes place at the site of the proposed garden, we get to meet each other and we gain a sense of the location and its surroundings. At this point we will need to find out about your objectives, practical needs, aesthetic preferences and budget to best incorporate them into your new design. There is no charge for this visit.
The Design Brief outlines the scope of the project and forms the basis of any future conversations, along with an estimate of the fees for the proposed design work, which will be submitted to you in writing. Once the Design Brief is signed off we begin the design work.
Based on the information gained from the initial meeting with the client and from the Site Survey and Site Analysis, we develop an Outline Plan, which comprises of a series of loose sketches showing the overall layout of the proposed garden scheme, where any necessary amendments can still be made before signing the design off. For more complex sites, to help the client gain a better insight into the future design we produce a 3d model.
To ensure that the garden is built to the exact specification of the final Masterplan, we prepare the Construction Drawings and Setting Out Plans required by the contractors, along with Planting Plans, Planting Schedules and any other Specifications required to bring your garden to life. These specific documents will allow us to put the garden to tender and contractors to cost the build. At this stage, we are happy to regularly monitor the build for you, to make sure it is built to our specification.
